If you are not an insurer, you can report suspected fraud involving automobile insurance to the Department of Insurance, the law enforcement agency with jurisdiction where the suspected fraud occurred, or you may also send a suspected fraud referral to the Orange County District Attorneys Office Automobile Insurance Fraud Unit on the California Department of Insurance form. Please provide all possible documentation with your fraud referral and use the form on the Department of Insurance website so that necessary information is included.
